Introduction
Murph Marketing LLC (“Murph Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) designs and develops websites and provides related SEO, hosting, and support services. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website, contact us, request a website audit, book a call, or work with us. It covers Murph Marketing’s own website and business communications. A client’s website may have its own privacy policy and separate arrangements governing information collected through that client’s site.
1. Who we are
Murph Marketing LLC is a Wisconsin-based web design business. Questions about this policy or information you have submitted to us can be sent to danny@murphmarketing.net or raised by calling +1 (608) 449-7011.
2. Information we receive
Information you provide. When you use our contact form, request a website audit, or book a call, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, business name or website URL, the service you ask about, your selected call time and time zone, how you heard about us, and any project details you choose to share. We also receive information you send by email, phone, or another communication channel.
Client and billing information. If we work together, we may receive the business and contact information needed to prepare a proposal, perform the agreed work, communicate about the project, and manage invoices and payments. A separate client agreement governs the project itself.
Technical information. Our website and the services that deliver or protect it may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, referring page, and request time.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through the public inquiry forms.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide the audit or call you request, prepare proposals, deliver and support agreed services, send project and billing communications, operate and protect the website, troubleshoot problems, maintain business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. We may use aggregate or appropriately de-identified information to understand how our website and services are working.
A project inquiry or call booking is not an automatic signup for promotional email or text messages.
4. When information is shared
We may provide information to vendors who perform functions for our business, such as website hosting, email delivery, and communications. They receive information relevant to the function they perform. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, protect rights or security, or handle a business transfer.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use analytics tools, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. When you open the homepage, your browser’s session storage records that the brief opening animation has played so it is not repeated during the same visit. That value stays in your browser, is cleared when the browsing session ends, and is not used to identify you. You can clear site storage at any time through your browser settings.
6. Payments
If a client pays through a third-party payment service, payment details are submitted to that provider under its own terms and privacy practices. Murph Marketing may receive transaction status and related billing records.
7. Retention
We keep inquiry, project, and billing information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing service, recordkeeping, resolving disputes, and applicable legal requirements. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention and backup practices.
8. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. We will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law; some records may need to be retained for business or legal reasons. If you receive optional promotional messages from us, those messages will explain how to opt out. Email danny@murphmarketing.net for privacy requests.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the information we handle to protect it from unauthorized access, misuse, and loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Client websites
When we build or support a client website, that client is generally responsible for its own business practices, visitor-facing statements, and decisions about information collected through its website. Our responsibilities for a particular project, including any processing of the client’s visitor data, are addressed in the client agreement. This Murph Marketing Privacy Policy is not a substitute for the privacy policy of a client website.
11. Children
This website is directed to people seeking business services, not children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact danny@murphmarketing.net so we can review and address it appropriately.
12. External services and links
Our website may link to independent websites or use outside services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Please review those notices when you leave our site or use an external service.
13. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when our website, tools, or practices change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. Where a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
